Vinho Verde
Lighter wine with an unique portuguese identity.
Vinho Verde is a young wine exclusively produced wine from Portugal with a semi-sparkling body and acidic aromas. Optimal as a summer sip with lighter foods, seafood and appetizers.
Our grape varieties
With a fruity aroma and a refreshing feeling, our wines are made with a selection of multiple varieties of grapes to balance its acidity and intensify its flavor.
Prevailing varieties
Arinto
One of the oldest harvested in Portugal.
Strong variety prone to adapt to different climates and terrains, providing a distinct and almost unique aroma with fruitful contributions within regions caused by its versatility. It gains some complexity due to its mineral characteristics.Thus, it produces a young, fresh and vibrant wine, similar to others kinds such as Pinot Blanc or a dry Chenin Blanc.
Azal White
A variety exclusively produced in our subregions: Amarante and Sousa.
The Azal variety provides an intense color and aroma with a slight taste of peach and orange, as well as a nutty and floral flavor. It can be described as a delicate but complex experience. Azal produces very acidic wines and usually only take part in a mixture of varieties to balance its palate.
